The Avalanche Center provides global snow avalanche information. It is a comprehensive source for current snow conditions, avalanche classes, accident reports, and more.
Mission Statement
The CyberSpace Avalanche Center (CSAC), a 501(c)(3) public service organization, seeks to reduce fatalities, injuries and property damage due to snow avalanches by using the internet and related technologies to provide educational resources and to facilitate the dissemination and discussion of technical advances in order to assist people in independently making sound decisions which will reduce snow avalanche hazards.
