About us...
Talisman is Run by Ron Walker (MIC, IML) and Fi Chappell (WML,IML). We are both members of AMI and BAIML. Each year we are based for around three months in the European Alps organising trekking and Mont Blanc climbing trips. The rest of the year apart from the odd few trips abroad, we live near Aviemore amidst the beautiful scenery of the Cairngorms National Park. This fascinating area provides us with a spectacular backdrop for our courses and activity holidays.
Talisman provides guided glen & mountain walking all year round.
In winter, we run winter mountaineering, winter walking skills & winter climbing courses - from snowholing to ice climbing.
Summer is the time for hillwalking, scrambling, rock climbing, abseiling and our Alpine trips
So whether you are looking for a relaxing Highland walking holiday or a heart-thumping climbing or activity course, we are there to guide you safely through your chosen adventure both in the UK and abroad.
