This trek gives a closer insight into the lives and culture of the Sherpa people.
The trail ascent is steady and requires some time for acclimatization. This trek is for those wishing to push themselves to the limit and who are generally fit and used to walking on hills. Although this has generally well-graded paths, it is a tough challenge especially along the Khumbu glacier and not to be taken carelessly.
If you have ever longed to set eyes on the highest mountain in the world, standing at a height of nearly 18,500ft (5,545 meters), then the view from Everest base camp will be unforgettable. Sunrise on the snow capped peaks above the Khumbu Glacier is also an unforgettable sight from the summit of Kala Patthar. Annapurna Circuit Trekking

Trishuli River Rafting
Name of this river followed from a famous pilgrimage place Gosaikunda which lies high in the Himalaya. High in the Himalaya at Gosainkund the god Shiva drove his trident into the rocky mountain to create three springs –the source of the river and hence its name Trishuli. The river has fixed some truly impressive gorges in its lower part as it cut its way through the 2000 meters high Mahavarat Range.
For many people this river represents the ideal rafting trip just the right length of time, exciting rapid, but not too difficult, easily reachable from Kathmandu. Certainly if you are looking for more of a ‘wilderness’ experience unsullied beaches, no other rafting groups, and un-spoilt scenery then you should consider one of the other river. The rapid on Trisuli are mainly big, bouncy and relatively safe; ‘flips’ (where the raft capsizes) or other accidents are rare in normal water condition, and if you wish, it is possible to walk around the few difficult rapid. Since the highway follows the river, you can easily come back to Kathmandu in few hours after completion of the trip.

Tibet Tour
