About Mountain Leader-Romania

Mountain Leader-Romania, located in Brasov,one of the most beautiful Transylvanian cities, offers tailor made mountain holidays, winter and summer, personally designed for each client.

About Me

My name is Florin George BANA and I'm 43 years old. After a 20 years military career within Romanian mountain troops, I have started running my own business as freelance mountain leader.
I am married and I have a daughter.
I speak English fluently.

International Mountaineering Training:

* US Special Forces Mountaineering Master Trainer Course, 1997, Fort Carson, Colorado, USA (qualified as Mountaineering Master Trainer level 2);
* Military Ski Trainers Course, 2000, Saalfelden, AUSTRIA;
* Avalanche Training Course, 2003, Andermatt, SWITZERLAND;

Achievements:

* Most of the summits with elevations over 2000m from Southern Carpathians;
* Pikes Peak (4302m) and Mount Rosa Peak (3505m), Colorado, USA;
* Gemsstock (2963m) and Winterhorn (2660m), SWITZERLAND;
* Grossglockner (3786m), AUSTRIA;
* Snowdon Horseshoe, North Wales, UK;

My Tours

My tours are tailor made for each client, so there are no two identical tours.
The tours are organised in Carpathians' Bend Mountains and Southern Carpathians.
The top of my tours is represented by traverse of Transylvanian Alps (Fagaras Mountains), the highest mountains in Romania.
