Hard Rock Festival 2009
Welcome to the Hard Rock Fest 2009, 13th to 16th August.
This years event, set to be the biggest yet, is again the place to be for all climbers in the South West, and from accross the country.
Whats on?
the South West Film Festival, part of the Hard Rock Fest, will bring you the best productions in mountain film from 2009 over the weekend. International films and local productions are on offer from climbers, cavers, paddlers and mountaineers world wide.
Climbing Competitions over the weekend will be fun and varied, from bouldering to dry tooling and even the first artificial DWS competition!!
DMM will also be at the Festival for a pioneering indoor Trad leading demo. Free to try for all to learn to lead on trad gear in the indoor wall.
Slacklines, set up and run by the Gibbon Slacklines team, will be a fun test of balance for all.

The Hard Rock Fest also has the night life to suppliment the day's events...
Live Bands, Westcountry Beer festival and great food breakfast noon and night mean that you can just turn up with your tent, camper van or sleeping bag for the bunkhouse and have a great weekend!
Charity: Mountain Rescue
This event was born to raise money for Mountain Rescue in 2007, and this year is no different. Come along in support of the men and women that are out there every day saving the lives of us, our friends and people we know in the great outdoors.
