9th Tegernsee Mountain Film Festival from October 19th - 23rd, 2011
Tegernsee International Mountain Film Festival is an annual competition for mountain films. Entries can be submitted in the following four categories:
- Mountain Experience – Alpinism, Mountain Sports, Adventure
- Mountain Nature – Landscape and Environment
- Mountain Life – Culture and Science
- EXTRA (the EXTRA category annually changes its thematic
focus) in 2011: Water in the Mountains - full of energy, wild and idyllic, rapid and serene, a space for sports and contemplation.
An international jury will judge the films admitted for competition. The following prizes may be awarded: Great Prize of the City of Tegernsee; Prize by the German Alpine Club in the category ‘Mountain Experience’; First Prizes in the categories ‘Mountain Nature’, ‘Mountain Life’ and ‘Extra’; Prize for the best entry by a Junior Film Maker; Award for the most outstanding camera work; Award for the most convincing portrayal of landscape; Award for the ‘Exceptional Film’.
The “Call for Entries” containing all facts and terms will be available at the beginning of February.
