Carlisle Mountaineering Club

Club details

A busy, friendly club with a wide range of members, mostly based in the Northern Lake District, Cumbria, England. Our members are involved in all aspects of rock climbing and mountaineering, from bouldering and indoor climbing to alpine and winter snow and ice.

Meets

We meet outdoors every Tuesday and Thursday evening and avery fortnight during the summer months. Weekend trips away are a regulr feature throughout the year.

We are affiliated to the BMC, so membership gets you affiliated membership of the BMC and club insurance while on club trips, as well as the usual range of discounts available to club members.
